At Houston Pain and Spine, we are pleased to offer Telemedicine consults for new and established patients. Most insurance plans cover telemedicine appointments as they would an in person visit. 1. Is there any paperwork to fill out?
Yes, prior to your appointment you will receive a DocuSign document with a consent for treatment and a the pertinent clinical form. Please complete and send back prior to your appointment.
2. What should I expect from my visit?
Please expect the same level of service as you would receive in office with coordination of care from Dr. Chaudhry and our staff.
3. How much will I have to pay?
Expect your patient responsibility to be the same to that for an in-office visit. Please contact our office at 832.436.4040 for any specific information.
4. How will I get connected to the doctor when it is my appointment?
You will receive a text message or email, depending on your choice, with a secure link to connect to Houston Pain and Spine. This will work on a cellphone, tablet or computer. Please click the link and you will be placed in the virtual waiting room. The link is only valid for 10 minutes. If you encounter any technical problems, please contact our office.
5. Are any patients excluded?
We are in full compliance with the Texas Medical Board on adhering to telemedicine guidelines set forth by them in TMB Rule Chapter 174. With that being said, there are certain patients that cannot be seen via telemedicine. Please contact our office directly regarding scheduling and patients eligible.
Houston Pain and Spine complies with the Texas Medical Board Chapter 174 and Texas Occupational Code Chapter 111. Our platform is fully HIPPA compliant. Houston Pain and Spine physicians can only practice and treat in the State of Texas.
